Upskill your workforce

Family Services of Peel was awarded a grant to encourage and support employers (i.e. small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to hire first-year apprentices, emphasizing equity-deserving groups, in the manufacturing and construction Red Seal trades across Canada.  ›› Learn more       

Canada Ontario Job Grant

The Canada Ontario Job Grant (COJG) provides direct financial support to employers who would like to administer training for their workforce development. You could qualify for up to $10,000 per trainee. ›› Learn more       

Regional Development Program

The Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream will provide financial support to advanced manufacturing companies with a focus on small to medium-sized enterprises across Ontario. The application deadline is August 15, 2023. ›› Learn more       

Trade-readiness certification program

With funding through the Government of Canada's AgriAssurance Program, GS1 Canada has developed a Trade-Readiness Certification Program for 200 eligible Canadian small businesses in food products.
